Bospar Wins 2017 BIG Public Relations and Marketing Excellence Award for Campaign of the Year

SAN FRANCISCO—April 12, 2017— Today the Business Intelligence Group (BIG) announced that Bospar, the boutique PR firm that puts tech companies on the map, has won the 2017 Public Relations and Marketing Excellence Awards for Campaign of the Year.

Bospar won the award on the strength of its work with cash back shopping site Ebates during the 2016 holiday shopping season. Bospar worked with Ebates to commission third-party research to determine consumer perceptions around holiday gifts and consumer behavior around the holidays. PR leveraged the data to create stories focusing on holiday shopping and developed story lines about the top gifts and top “stressors” of the holidays. The campaign generated more than 190 pieces of coverage, totaling 1.7 billion impressions and an ad equivalency of $26 million. The Bospar team secured coverage in major lifestyle, consumer, tech and personal finance outlets, including Yahoo!, AOL, CNN Money, Business Insider, USA Today, Mashable, TIME, NBC News and CBS News.
